El pastor Shertzer recibió a Cristo como Señor a la edad de 7 años, comenzó sus estudios teológicos a la edad de 21 años en el Instituto Bíblico de Rosedale y luego en el Instituto Palabra de Vida, donde estuvo involucrado con el coro del grupo Drama y ministerios de alcance comunitario.

Más tarde asistió a la Universidad Campbell y a la Universidad Central de Carolina del Norte, donde se graduó con honores y obtuvo la Licenciatura en Educacion Musical con concentración en coro. Ha sido misionero en Ucrania, Guyana y Argentina en América del Sur. Tiene más de 40 años de experiencia tocando música a través de piano, batería, violín, guitarra y cantando a capella en cuartetos masculinos.

Tiene un corazón para los grupos minoritarios, los niños con discapacidades mentales y físicas, ha servido como pastor de Jovenes en actividades y campamentos y en el Ministerio de niños ha enseñado en los clubes AWANA, Evangelismo Explosivo, Alianza Pro Evangelización del Niño® (CEF) y Escuela Biblica de verano.

Tambien tiene una Maestría de Arte en Consejería Clínica en Salud Mental.

En la comunidad está entrenado con CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), enseñó Montessori en los grados de preescolar y primaria, actualmente está certificado con la Cruz Roja Americana como instructor de RCP/PRIMEROS AUXILIOS/AED y es Notario Público registrado.

Su esposa, Sol, y su hija, Camila, lo están ayudando a plantar la Iglesia Bilingue Abundante Gracia en el condado de Wake, que llega a Raleigh, Garner, Fuquay Varina, Apex, Clayton y Cary, NC.

Pastor Shertzer received Christ as Lord at the age of 7, he began his theological studies at the age of 21 at Rosedale Bible College and then at the Word of Life Institute where he was involved with the Drama group choir and inner-city outreach ministries.

Later he attended Campbell University and NC Central University where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Art in Musical Education with a concentration in choir. He has been a missionary in the Ukraine, Guyana and Argentina in South America.

He has more than 40 years of experience playing music through piano, drums, violin, guitar , a cappella performance and barbershop quartet. He has a heart for minority groups, Mentally and Physically-Challenged children, serving as a Youth Pastor in events and youth camps and with Children at AWANA clubs, CEF and VBS.

He also has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Pentecostal Theological Seminary (PTS) . In the Community he is registered as a volunteer with CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), taught Montessori Education in Preschool and Primary grades, is currently certified with American Red Cross as a CPR/FIRST AID/AED instructor and a registered Notary Public.

His wife, Sol, and his daughter, Camila, are helping him plant Abundante Gracia Bilingual Church in Wake County which serves Raleigh, Garner, Fuquay Varina, Apex, Clayton and Cary, NC.
